The Rakindo Nilgiri Autumn Meet which was washed out in the first week of October 2009 was played on 26th and 27th , Dec 2009 at the Ooty Gymkhana golf course.
The tournament was played in the finest December weather ever seen at Ooty, with the overcast skies and the mist weaving its patterns through the golf course.
The Premier event of the meet the *Centerary Open* proved to be a one horse race with K.M.S JAHANGIR winning from start to finish and was never threatened at any point of time. P Suresh tried is very best to match strides with Jahangir but was a distant second.
In the Hanau cup JEENESH J GOLECHA, who took up to golf just 4 months ago put up a creditable performance to win with a margin of 2 strokes.
The Senior Open, open to golfers above 5o years was won by N Soundararajan with a score of 167.
